

DIPLOMA IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH

This programme aims to provide students with knowledge and skills in health assessment and to help them manage safety and health risks in the workplace. They will also learn about the applicable occupational health and safety regulations and methods for maintaining and implementing effective occupational health and safety programs.

Program Entry Requirements
Malaysian Students:
1. A pass in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English and 3 credits
in the following subjects:
– Mathematics or ONE science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science)
– Any other TWO subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English); OR
2. A pass in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in related field; OR
3. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of grade C (GPA 2.00)
in any subjects; OR
4. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass); OR
5. Certificate related to Health Sciences with minimum CGPA 2.50; OR
6. Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).
International Students:
1. A pass in O-Level with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects
2. Any qualification equivalent to certificate (Level 3, Malaysian Qualifications Framework).
